White Horse is having an Open House next month: On Saturday May 17th, 2008 we're hosting our 3rd Annual Spring Open House in Center Conway, New Hampshire, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We'll be feasting on fabulous food at our FREE BBQ catered by Mount Washington Valley favorite, Fandangle's Restaurant! (Who says there's no such thing as a free lunch?!) There will also be the newest gear and apparel to try, door prizes, many special sale items, lots of interesting bikes from far and wide, and plenty of other riders to meet. And don't forget the great, tax-free shopping in our warehouse store. Admittedly we've had a record snowfall this winter, in fact it snowed another 4 inches last night (not kidding!), but we promise the parking lot will be plowed in time for the open house. We'd love to see you here. Come join us for the day and ride the wonderful White Mountains of New Hampshire! It would be a Good Thing if a bunch of Buellers showed up and were vocally enthusiastic about the book. Also, riding the Kancamagus is a good thing all by itself. |

Crusty you heading up there for that event? We could set something up with the NH guys and do a group ride. We could meet at the Open House and ride from there. |

When I said books were arriving I don't want to imply that they will be shipping real soon. A handful of copies are air freighted as they come off the press. The rest arrive in a container on a slow boat. the container has all the books being published during this run so any given title can sit at the printer for a while waiting for other books to print. Nonetheless Court and I should have a copy we can thumb though and incite much jealously here on Badweb;) |

Jim (Damnut); That sounds like it would be fun. We can work out details as the date gets closer. |

I'll see what I can setup with the NH guys. As the date gets closer let's make more solid plans. It does sound like it would be a good day. I just love riding up in NH, don't really need much of an excuse. I'm hoping that my S.O. will have her MC endorsement by then and can ride with us. I just have to wait and see about that. If we do go, I assume that your wife would be joining us? Daughter? That could help her feel better about doing a long ride if there were other women around. |

Jim; Terri will be riding up. Andrea (our daughter) will probably be working. Terri's pretty Psyched about the ride for a couple of reasons; one, she loves the roads in the White Mountains; and two, she should have her hard bags on the Ss by then, and she'll love showing them off. She also would appreciate having another woman along. |

It is likely we will have a limited amount of books to sell at homecoming and that orders that were placed on the Whitehorse site early on will be shipped before homecoming. I have not gotten an update in the last week though so this is old news. The balance of books will not arrive int he US until late July. |

Actually might be my bad. I got a shipment email (not sure who from) but it shows it going to a different address than what I put down on the WhiteHorse Press website. Assumed it was the book but probably something else I have forgotten that I ordered. |

Actually shipment was delayed due to the wrong paper being used in the first prints. Should be out by the First of July I was told. EZ |

In an e-mail from Whitehorse I got a few days ago, I was told the end of July. >.< ...so apparently I won't be able to get it signed at Homecoming. |

For what its worth here is the response I got yesterday via email: Good morning Frank: 25 Years Of Buell is not due out until August. It is a new title and we offered folks the opportunity to set up their purchase early to get a prepublication discount. The folks who did not order early will be paying the full price when it becomes available. I hope this answers your question. Please don't hesitate to call if you need anything else. |
