There's three of us Bueller's from South Bend, IN are riding up on 1 July. If you are riding through on the 30th and need a place to crash, y'all can crash on my couch, floor, wherever. Open doors to anyone, along with a garage for storage for the night (might have my tools here before homecoming, not sure yet). But, we will be having a Dodge Ram drive up behind us, along with spare tires, tools, and all of our luggage. If you want to ride up with us and toss your luggage in the truck, more than welcome to do so. I just wanted to offer this up to anyone as it's nice riding in a group, and with a chase vehicle. -Wilson | ||

Plan to be in Northern Indiana but not until late afternoon or evening of July 1. Don't care for Chicago traffic so was thinking of getting off I-90W near Toledo and dropping down on US24 to get past Chicago before heading North to Wisconsin. | ||

Trapper, Rt 24 from Toledo over to Ft Wayne is a tough rd right now. 2 lane, a lot of constructin between Napoleon and Defiance, Ohio. It also carries a lot of truck traffic of guys trying to avoid the toll rd. FYI | ||

Guess I will be staying North on I-80 then getting a motel in Coldwater,MI. On 2Jul will get back on I-80 and go thru Chicago to the Host Hotel. Any good advice on getting thru Chicago? I got on the Ill Dept of Transportation web site and they have more than a little construction posted for even the toll routes thru Chicago, all the way to the Wisconsin State line! -Trapper |
