I'm attempting to look for northern Ohioans to ride with. I've seen a NICE black tuber running around Strongsville, OH A new Firebolt in white/blue running around between Columbia Station and Strongsville. A Blast parked at a church (or something) on North Ridge Rd in Elyria, OH |

What about my Black Ulysses running around Olmsted Township? Where is Galloway? Looks like your profile needs updated... I rode over to Nelson's alone a few weeks ago to see WolfRidgeRider race. Yeah, it would be nice to get together once in a while. |

I'm in Berea. Translucid Orange Xb12Scg. I met the guy on the black Tuber, He also has a yellow XB if I remember correctly. Lives in Brunswick next door though. Not Strongsville. Or maybe it is another guy. Now, if u wanna plan a ride out to watch Wolfy ride sounds like a great idea!! Or do ya'all wanna meet up at Bike night at Quaker Steak n Lube? There's also vintage car rallys every week all around the the area. Could also try a longer ride such as down to the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in Pickerington. Just suggest a when and where and see how many we can get together. I'm game if I'm not working. |

Wolf has another race, or are we talking about the West By God Virginia Buell Rally? My profile has been edited. Bike nights are out. We just bought a house in Elyria and I'm working a part time job on the weekends. If you see this bike, with a fat guy on it hauling ass. Chase me down and introduce yourself!

Is Toledo Northern Ohio? I guess I'm closer to Detroit than Cleveland. My folks still live in Fairview Park. Does that count for anything? My bike smells like dead bugs. |

Is it in Northern Ohio? It counts! That part of the state is flat... but it counts... My new sidestand showed up yesterday so I'm back on the road. The more I ride my Dad's Sportster, the more I loves my Buell |

Thumper et al, If you want to meet for some rides, I'm willing. However, all the "good" roads are slightly to the south of us. So, perhaps meeting early on a weekend in the Montrose area(I77 & Rt18) west of Akron and then heading south for some fun would be in order? Here's the ride I did with a couple of friends last Sunday: It was nice to see (name deleted) on his Duc ST3 when I showed up to meet Dave Godfrey (Buell Ulysses) at Bob Evans in Wadsworth. We're out of there at 8:45 and on the road. After getting out of town, we start hitting some twisties on 514, 520 and 60. We roll into Dresden after nearly 2 hours, and take a break. Gas up then get a cold beverage, while we sit in the shade near the big basket. From there Dave continues to craft his plan, we're heading down to pickup 78 and there's talk of getting down to the river eventually. So off we go, Dave continues to lead a great pace, and I'm now following Paul. The roads zip by, 208, 93, 83, and finally we get to 78. Plenty of twists and turns, still pretty light traffic. The pace is pretty quick. We stop again to release some liquids and BS a little. Onward we go, planning to ride 536, haven't been on that road in years. Very tight and technical, pretty narrow road with some steep drops. It takes some time to get into a good rhythm, but I start having a blast. We pull off on side roads to go to this park that sits up a hill. It overlooks the Ohio River, just above Hannibal. You can see the damn, and New Martinsville on the WV side. Very cool spot, nice view and very quiet. (I took a few pics and will try to upload them later.) Paul asks if we're thinking about stopping for lunch today. Forget what time it was, after 1PM I think. We continue on and take 536 to the river. I'm in the lead now, and we're heading towads 556. Haven't been on that road in a while either. Think it was usually going the other way. We roll on, briskly going through the nice twists and turns. In Beallsville we don't see the diner (nor do we know if it is open), so I continue on 145 to 800 into Barnesville. We gas up and hit Subway for a late bite to eat. Its about 4PM when we leave, the routes been laid in, warp factor 4, ENGAGE! 800 is great even though we have to pass some more traffic, including a couple cruisers. Then 342-258, and county roads into Gnadenhutten. 416 along the river is a good break. We get on US250/77 for a short hop while Paul continues on 77 heading for home. Dave and I pickup 516 and 93 then 21 our local slab connector back home. Fantastic ride, I rolled in about 6:30PM, had left home about 11 hours prior, and rode almost 400 miles. I think we more fun than is legally possible. Lets do it again some time guys. If this kind of riding is what you guys like to do, let's plan one and make it happen. It would be very cool to have all Buells on a ride like this. David Godfrey N.E. Ohio Buell Ulysses XT |

I'm in for whatever when my schedule allows. Probably the best roads 'round here are in and going into/ coming out of the cuyahoga valley. great place to meet up and ride when you can't set aside a whole day. the deer in the early mornings and evenings add to the excitement. day trips to so fun roads south of canton would be fun to. |

David! Exactly what I want to do!! I'd need to take a day off work to make it happen but if you guys agree on a date, I'll do exactly that. My only day off work right now is Tuesdays. But set a date and I'll "call in sick"! |

Here's another vote for NOB Squad! Dentfixer, I think your "wifey's" suggestion would be a great group name. Unfortunately, I'm old enough to remember the original Mod Squad on TV. Peggy Lipton, as Julie, was HOT!! |

Thanks for introducing yourself Lauren! Whats your boyfriends name and when can we all get together for a ride? Dave, I was a teen when the Mod Squad was on so I'm practically old as dirt as well. Looks like NOB-Squad is in the lead but I'm open for more suggestions. What do you got people? |

I'm up for rides to Nelson's or Southeast Ohio. Dave, that sounds like a great ride. The roads down that way are much cooler. I'll have to find out what WolfRidgeRider's schedule is for Nelson's. Who is planning on the WVa Buell Rally? Looks like I'm in. That could be the coming out party for the NOB-Squad... |

It's late notice, but the weather looks good for tomorrow, so I'm going for a ride. (I'm on a 4 day work week) If anyone is able and wants to join me, I'll propose meeting at 8:30am at the Montrose Bob Evans. It's located at the Rt. 18 exit of I-77 just west of Fairlawn and is easily seen from the highway. From there, I'll be heading south for a ride of between 200 and 300 miles, with a lunch stop along the way. It will take about 30 minutes from Montrose to get to some decent roads. I'll check back until 11:00pm this evening to see if anyone is interested. Please note; if no one responds, I will NOT be at the Bob Evans tomorrow, as it's a little out of my way. Here's hoping a NOB or two can make it! |

Ron, I hope to be in for the Vintage Days. The company I work at is moving the weekend before and if everything goes according to schedule I'm in for VMD. I am not going to Homecoming. Too busy with the move. Dave, Hope you had a good time. I'd like to get out for one of your rides one of these days. |
