It's not for me. I'm the one going home to the peanut butter sandwich dinner. And yes the second caption is the best. |

I wish I had an extra $140,000. BadWeb Fractional anyone? Let's pool 140 people with $1,000 to go in on one. I get to fly it first. |

All right, but if you crash it your estate will owe each of us $1,000! Don't think you're getting out of it by dying, ya know! |

The new FAA class is more xciting than the plane. 140k, yep that will separate the men from the boys. I have always eyed the RAF2000 a low price point to cross country 2 passenger aircraft. pump gas. needs only a small runway. could fit in a garage max payload 750lbs 2 seater cruz @ 80mph 3 hour range operational cost 20-30 an hour Decent Kits start @ 20k and go up. You can build it or pay some one to build. Or buy used.

nice preflight check right side TIRE ? Big underinflated tires = the only suspension many light aircraft have The problem with SP and Light sport aircraft is the cost. In all of San Diego county there's only one light sport aircraft for rent and one SP instructor. Supply and demand... I can train in a 152 with a standard cfi for $50/hr less; so that in the end, with real world hour estimates (20 and 40 are the minimums, and are not typical) the SP license isn't much cheaper. It's only really good for existing pilots who let their medical lapse cause they got old. Some of the new planes that are coming out are neat, but still out of reach to the average pilot. That folding plane looks sweet! I especially like the chute (no likey the falling). Gyrocopters are cool, but I'd never ride one... no chute. I'm totally terrified of heights... I figure flying on my own will be the only way I ever conquer that fear. ~SM |

Plane looks neat. A rich man's toy but could be fun. I've seen that sky walk on a program or two. Nothing like that cartoon feeling of running off a cliff then looking down. Barker, a friend of mine owns a RAF2000. He is the head of a local gyro clubs. I have some great video footage of us flying it. Except for the "2 bladed hop" It is really comfortable. I have been trying to find someone with an open seater, I really want to go for a ride. |

never happen, as long as you can have lax standards where any one my buy or hijack one of those, .... they need to come with a DeathStar self destruct remote for radical terrorist f-cks. You think the roads are bad with drivers paying attention to their ipod.... it doesnt bode well for the sky either yes the second quote is pure marketing genius. |
