I used to think people who did this were wreckless morons, but, a CBR pulled up next to me the other day, pulled ahead, and brought the wheel up. It was beautiful! Someone give me some tips! |

first gear, just open the throttle. The smoother you do it the longer you can make the wheelie last. takes practice and good throttle control to keep a first gear wheelie up when you start off because of the sheer power of the bike. Second gear, i wait until about 5000 rpm, slide my butt back an inch on the seat, and then hammer on the throttle. It comes up nice and steady, can wheelie forever in second gear. once you get comfy, try putting your left leg on the rear passenger peg and standing up while you wheelie. The bike comes up much easier if your on the back pegs and you have a ton of control, plus it looks killer. Remmember, Be careful! And until your good, no show off wheelies for women or other bikers, thats how you get hurt! Ill have to post up some pictures of me in flight. PS.... if you get into danger hit the rear brake. Be prepared if you wheelie for a long time your front tire will smoke when you land as it catchs up to how fast you are going... And once you hit the balance point you will freak yourself out, but get comfy with being that far back and then wheelies are retarded easy! |
