A guy selling a '08 XT in the Flea Market over on Adv Rider site http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35 1611 says "There is almost three years left on the transferrable warranty, which includes full reimbursement in case of a break down (Buell will pay you back for any towing, food or even lodging that is a result of a breakdown).}" That's news to me. |

Sounds like he bought the extended warranty...that includes break-down protection I believe. |

Yes, I thought about that right after I posted the question. The standard warranty is two years and it looks like his was for four. I bought mine used so didn't have the option and wasn't familiar with extended protection plans. It would be nice if Buell offered Roadside Assistance for free as part of the initial purchase. It would hardly ever get used! |
