I was having alot of problems with the bike not starting up the "mechanic" just screw the idle screw more... it started but vibrated alot, extra loud and used alot of gas... so i unscrewed it once started until it sounded good... but when i turned it and restarted like 5 hours later doesnt start... until i screw it more, needless to say this is a pain in the butt.... any ideas what to look for?

I was having a similar problem with my 08 Blast after my 1000 mile service. They tightened my primary chain too tight, and turned my idle really high which led to the same vibrations you brought up. I adjusted the idle back down, but then my blast wouldn't start up. It was only after I loosened my primary chain that I was able to lower my idle and be able to start it. Now it runs like the day it was born again.

Is the primary chain the main belt??

The primary chain is located in the case where the shifter connects. There is a primary adjust bolt with a lock nut underneath there. I have no idea what the history of adjustments on that for you are, but typically I understand the adjustments according to the manual are too tight. I would agree with this considering the tightness issues I had after my 1000 mile service.
