This may have been posted already but I wonder where everyone is putting their toll passes. I bought a holder and walked around "Diablo" looking for a place and settled on the inside but the toll doesn't read. Anybody got pics where they put theirs and it reads? |

mine is dead center on the windscreen. Ugly as hell but it reads very well and allows me to fly through. I tried both sides out of view and it just doesn't pick up. |

Mine is dead center on the windshield forward. Probably just like Nickcaro's. I have never had a problem with it reading at the toll booths and there are plenty of them here in NY. Mike

What's a toll pass? Is that where you have to stop and answer the questions three? What is your name....what is your quest.....what is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow? |

What's a toll pass? It is where (at least here in Illinois) the non-regulated states tollway authority steals your money for the right to ride on giant pothole strewn,non-bike friendly low speed highways. |

It's electronic highway robbery. We've got it here in Jersey, MD, NY and DE too. |

Hey, At least in NY you get 1/2 off the thruway toll if you have a motorcycle specific tag. The cool thing is NY EZPASS works all the way to Chicago. The only thing I found with the EZpass (same technology I believe as the iPass) is that it needs to be mounted near vertical. I had all sorts of issues with it velcro-ed flat. But it worked great, even in the tank bag, as long as its mostly vertical. HIH Matt (Message edited by mbsween on June 13, 2008) |

Kttemplar- Where'd you get the box with suction cups? Looks at least tidy. |

I got it from the Harley dealer they have several different styles here in NY because of the ungodly amount of tolls and toll booths. There is a similar version here http://www.e-zpal.com/ which looks like it would be able to go even farther down on the windshield because the suction cup is centered on the device.
Wait a minute.....here we go, this is one like the holder on my bike. The web site looks a little ghetto and it was hard to find, but it is definitely the one that I have on my bike. http://www.toccomagicousa.com/EZ.htm
Hope this helps. Mike |

Just register your bikes license plate to the tolltag and leave it at home :-) they will link the pic they take to your account and take it out then. No fee's or BS. you just have to put up with the loud buzzer and bright flash from the camera Seriously, I leave it in my jacket pocket. but since I have two jackets, I forget it alot and its never been a problem. |

yeah, that only works when you don't have a barrier in front of you. |

Rah- Agree with Nick. Not good enough to have the ride on your account. I got a bill for $3300 some weeks back because my ipass wasn't working on my car (which was on "the account"). Evidently I was flying through the tolls without paying, go figure, free roads! LOL, they even sent me a picture of me and my car. Good thing I wasn't doing anything naughty. Anyway, I got the bill thing fixed but I will go buy the pretty little box. p |
