Scott, from the posts above,i believe we're riding tomorrow.I can skip the Weirs as well if that's the consensus. The track would be a good destination via YOUR twisty roads. We need to develop a plan and place to meet up. Right now,i believe we've got UStorque,BaggerMike,FireboltEric,Myself........Who else? C'mon guys' , it'll be a great ride. |

Liz and I *may* join for a ride tomorrow. Depending on what time we are leaving. I would like to leave my house between 7-8 to head up and would like to be back home between 4-5. If this is possible then we will go. |

If the weather holds ok,we'll be travelling 24n to 93n into NH to meet Mike at the rest stop just insids the NH line. 401-253-6518 I'll be up early in the morning anyway(5A) so i'll be able to gage my ability to ride. If it weren't for the weather, tomorrow would(will?) be a long anticipated fun ride.Perhaps next weekend otherwise. Can't wait to get up there now. |

Eric's a ghost. I went by his place to borrow some non-bike tools, and he managed to step out right before I got there. Count me out for Laconia. Wife's first weekend home, and the honey-do list just ate my bike budget. My temporary bachelordom is OVER. I'm knee deep in the middle of building a paver path to the front door. Did you know that a new walkway costs as much as a Drummer (but is probably worth the money)? Plus, the Uly is still without rear brakes but Al Superman Lighton is shaking down the distributor to get my pads replaced and (hopefully) make them pay for a new rotor. Good man, there. Have fun laughing at the butt-jewelry, if you go, you Fair-Weather Bikers.

Ahhhh Scotty...welcome back to the honey-do-list owners club! First weekend back and doing house work! I like it (means I'm not the only one)! I actually started the morning doing various yard work and Audra said "screw the work lets go ride"...surprised...but who was I to argue? We ended up stopping at the BMW/Duccati dealer in Worcester (Audra only lasts so long on that back seat) and poked around a bit. I may have her hooked on something other than a big fat piece of ass jewelry cruiser! She sat on a 2005 BMW 660 something or other (sporty, maybe small adventure type) and it's a good fit and she said she was comfortable on it...just need to figure out how to lower it about an inch... YEAH ME!!! Another idea was sprung by the sales guy we were talking to...he suggested she take my bike and I get another one...(first sales guy I've ever met that I liked imediately!)...so putting that bug in my head...I brought her to the school up the road from home and let her try it out (TRUE LOVE PROVEN RIGHT THERE!!!)...she actually liked it!!! I guess we wait and see... I'll post up the actual bike model and info tomorrow...I know most of you have more bike model knowledge than I and will be looking for anything you know about this potential BMW purchase. |

Now it's raining out THis is ooohhhhhhhhh so typical weather when Laconia bikeweek occurs.I hate it when i get excited about a ride and it rains. Over at NESR they're all posting about bailing on their planned ride to the track too.. Which leads me to an intense sense of urgency to make it happen next weekend. But Scott won't likely be available for that one,and for good reason. |
