"I was definitely dehydrated and not completely with it that day." I hear you there. Dehydration got me June 1st. It took me about 30 minutes after my race to recover to the point that I didn't feel like I was going to die. (Message edited by eboos on June 10, 2008) (Message edited by eboos on June 10, 2008) |

Jim- It's in my garage and it's too big to carry on the bike, unless you want to fold it up which I wouldn't recommend. But my wife just got home last night, so I'm not currently available. Weekend looks best. |

That would be great if you guys come up on Sunday. I am pitted in the grass area in the infield with a white canopy and a green Toyota Tundra. If you see the ECK (east coast kneedragger) guys, I am very close by. |

Hello NEBO. I'm a new Bueller living in CT about 30 miles South of Worcester and West of Providence. I'm going to have to hook up with you guys for a ride soon. I'm thinking I might be able to make the Laconia run on Sunday. When are you guys going up? Where are you leaving from? |

I know buells sound like sewing machines. But that noise has seemed to get a bit louder the last couple times i've had my bike out. So being a mechanic for a living i'm a bit of a fanatic when it comes to maintenance on my bike. So on my last oil change I decided to drain the fluids and put Mobil 1 (supposedly) fully-synthetic v-twin 20w50 in the engine and primary. Well today I was a bit paranoid about the engine noise and decided to drain the engine oil after only putting 1500 miles on the bike since putting the Mobil 1 in. The oil that came out was black as the ace of spades. It looked like something that had been drained from a 10 year old lawnmower. I found it hard to believe. Seeing as how I thought the Mobil 1 was quality oil. Especially for what it cost. After seeing that I think it is SHIT! So on my lunch break I went and bought some Redline oil and a new filter. I changed the filter and put in the new oil. Fired it up and took it for a ride. Holy f'n shit the engine is soooo quiet now. I decided to drain the shit Mobil 1 from the trans to. Filled it with the Redline and rode it home from work. It made a big difference in the shifting of the trans. The Redline isn't cheap. But it sure as hell seems worth every penny. Redline rocks |

I was running mobil-1 with no complaints but did an oil change last night with Royal Purple. My engine now seems smoother/quieter, but isn't that the case with every fresh oil change! |
