I'd buy 2! 1 for the circuit track and 1 for the dirt track. I like the tail section too. Could be a fun trail bike also. Probably sell the X1 to get them. I can't afford to collect them like R-T and Aaron. I rode one of those 883R's before. One fun bike even though if weighs in at 545 lbs wet. The frames on the above look like Aluminum. That should shed a few. |

Anony- I for one appreciate the information regardless of the anonymousness (Anonimousity? Anonimism? Oh hell...) of it. Let's try not flame anons who provide some interesting info. Someday one of 'em might help you without you even asking! -Saro |

If Buell marketed the dirttrack Blast and it looked anything like the ones at the track, I'd buy one in a heartbeat. |

"Someday one of 'em might help you without you even asking! " Or without you even knowing it was an "anony" who helped you. Side note: it would be funny to see some person at some function or event walking around with Buell or H-D factory clothing on, a paper bag over his/her head with openings for the eyes, and a somewhat official namebadge that said "Anonymous". That would be good. (couldn't get the anony: emoticon to work, must be reserved for the official anonys) |

Saro, Tell ya what as soon as they announce the FI Blast next year or if it isn't introduced cause it was just an experiment. I will tell you who I am but because the engineers stoped at my dealership on the way to a schedualed test with some one important. I am not going to "Sink a ship" |

Don't get me wrong I understand the importance of the anony function. I just think that it gets used much too often. When secrets can be told its cool, but I see it used all too often for B.S. Ray (not too anonymous) |

With all the talk of modified Blasts, who will be the first to go totally insane and stuff a Firebolt engine into one. Now that would be scary! Fun, but still scary. All in all, this has to be my favorite modified Blast, and someday hopefully I'll have the money to do it with a 'Bolt engine of course!

Like i I said (the original anony) i I will be glad to tell you who i I am after the official announcement or when it is in Battle2Win or whatever that may happen that it is'nt such a secret anymore. But for now i I am protecting my self and the gentelman i I talked too. Even telling you where i I seen saw it there will be 99.9% chance the higher powers will figure it out. Sorry again but it is a little more than B.S. |

Anony, Methinks that if you saw this in public, and the engineers were candid with you and failed to ask you to keep the sighting to yourself... then you are blowing the whole thing a bit out of proportion. Are you absolutely sure it was fuel injected? If not, and you inferred as much from the evident electrical rigging, for all we know it could have been a common chassis test bike rigged with strain gauges, accelerometers, and other telemetry sensors. Besides, your astute observation is more than valid. If Buell actually cared about keeping such a thing secret, you've blown it for them and they certainly know who was handling the bike. Let's get real here and lose the paranoia. Do you even work for Buell. If not, why would you imagine you could get into trouble? |

You know I don't mind if you edit my posts but don't make me look like a jack a$$ by leaving the corections on there. And yes it was fuel injection unless there is a new air temp sensor that mounts on the manifold behind the throttle body and removed the float bowl? I don't work for Buell but i do work for a dealer. You know what hell i'll say they came to my dealer and bought a battery because the one in the Blasst went dead. |
