NUTS would. Spent a year away from Buell-land...the will was only so strong. I had a bevy of bikes during my hiatus and this go round I chose by ownership experience. Buell-second to none. Thanks Badweb. (Message edited by nutsosane on June 11, 2008) |

Hey Nutsosane, Nice bike(s). Btw, is that an Alaska Sheepskin? If so, what size? Thanks John H. |

Johnboy, That's the Aerostich version. It has a non-skid backing and 8 loops for securing to the bike; size-small taper. It comes with 4 securing straps and costs $60 I think. I've seen an Alaska Sheepskin in size medium and I believe they are the same size. The AK product only has a single strap across the middle and may interfere with the mounting of the seat. I sure wish I had the seat off of my '06 Uly. NUTS |

Wondered where the hell you went. Welcome back! I'd look in the classifieds for a used seat. Plenty to go around. I hate the 07/08 seat as well. That seat is the perfect blend of straddling a 2x4 so your nuts go to sleep and humping the tank. |

it looks like you took the windscreen off of your bike altogether. i'll bet you get less noise like that too. btw, the blue looks great. |

How much time did it take you to get used to not riding the 'fast black' bike? How much slower is the blue, anyway? |

Blue has to be faster than the 'pumpkin orange' bikes... |

As Glitch said many moons ago: "It ain't the arrow, it's the Indian." Black, orange, blue, white, red it don't matter. Any Buell delivers smiles per mile I haven't found anywhere else. The black bike was a week old when I rode it down to Deals Gap and if memory serves, I have a buell battery in the tankbag. The slower blue bike(Huckleberry) will only be slow for another 50 miles, then we start to tickle 7k on the tach.NUTS |

Who would be so foolish to buy two Ulysses? Me. I traded my '06 Uly in on an '08 XT. |

The black bike was a week old when I rode it down to Deals Gap I enjoyed that trip, and the happenstance of meeting you on the side of the road. |
