My bike came without the stock windshield on it, PO had an after market mounted which I did not buy with the bike. When I went to put on the stock shield it would not press on to the grommets. There are threaded inserts inside the grommets which make me think they where for the other windshield which i think was a Parabelum. I guess my questions is should there be threaded inserts? |

Parabellum uses threaded "T" nuts behind all four grommets, secure by a little super glue on the back side of the flyscreen grommet. Buell made a retro-fit kit for the tall wind screen that used some kind of bolt in place of the bottom grommet/plug setup. |

It should not be too difficult to remove the t-nuts from the grommets. Remove the front cover and work on the t-nuts from the backside. Parabellum only recommends a drop or so of super-glue, you should be able to slice through the adhered spots with a razor knife. Mark in Arizona |
