Ok.... Looks like EARLY next week i will be REJOINING the ranks of owning a buell

Sold my X1 back in January... due to a DIVORCE..

Looks like EARLY next week I will be on a 2004 XB9R.

** I truely had the opportunity to buy WHATEVER i wanted... Family (parents) were EXTREMELY understanding with my DIVORCE and wanted to help me get something that I would TRULEY enjoy and they knew that i pretty much HAD to sell the last X1 for the Divorce.. So.. I had been looking at EVERYTHING...

and i mean EVERYTHING.... 2008 BMW R1200SS, new BUSA, GSXR 1000 yadi yadi yadi...

In the end I knew i wanted a bike that was different... I had a 2001 GSXR 1000 and TLR 1000 with some of the other Buells...

After reading up on the XB's... I decided that it would be a COOL bike.. Not any around here.. fun to ride... different and STILL easy to work on if it needs it..

Yep... its funny.. I always had plans... but my EX.. was DIFFICULT.

Once she BLIND SIDED me... I said.. OK.. its time to do for me.

I started my Masters Degree (PUBLIC ADMIN) and will Graduate next Fall... Then will be heading for my Doctorate.

I am a University Investigator for the Police Dept. and have also been offered a PART TIME teaching position with the University ONCE i complete my Masters.

Life is MUCH better... I am ALOT more relaxed and enjoying the company of NORMAL people for a change. I would NOT change my life one bit... it has put me on a path and position in life that is worth its weight in GOLD and past BUELL's.

I'm in the same boat you are. Final stages of a divorce after a long marriage. We've been separated for almost a year now and mentally everyone is much healthier. Glad to see you're coming out the other end of the tunnel in good shape.

Just don't do any stupid rebound stuff. I'm ugly enough I don't have to worry about that kind of stuff...lol

Sounds like you have successfully reversed the polarity of a very negative situation. When you get that Buell back under you it'll even be better. Buell therapy is hard to beat.
