Show em if you got em! I have a Magellan Maestro 4050 and I am looking for mounting options. As I have the big tank bag and shorter Cityx bars I am trying to figure a good location for the gps. I am a little concerned about road debri impact if mounted outside of the windscreen. Although, I did see an aquabox setup that might eliminate that concern. Anyway, if you got pics of your GPS setup, I would like to see them. |

I have the same unit mounted on a Ram mount and arm attached to the brake reservoir on the right side. I use the arm to mount it low and inboard to prevent crap impact. Remember the Maestro is NOT water proof. |

i just got my u-bolt ram mount on the bar right after the clutch lever bracket. i got a tom tom one. at least for me by keeping it on the left side if i have to check anything, i'm not reaching across the tank. as far as road debris goes, it always manages to hit me in the face so i don't worry about the tom tom. |

I have seen both of those mounts. I have been looking at the ram mount site for a couple of days now. I like the idea of not reaching across the bike, but the reservoir mount is pretty trick. |

Doesn't make that much of a difference between reaching to the center or off center a little. Hasn't been an issue for me. |

Old setup which mounts directly to the Uly crossbar with inexpensive rubber pipe clamp fittings.
Current Setup which uses RAM Mount parts attached to the Precision Engineering Top clamp and Pro Taper bars.
