Great ride LaFayette! I passed on the hot dog at Seminole HD, so Rich ate mine. I replaced the front tire when I got home Saturday. Boy, was that front end squirelly out there on those back roads. You never realize how bad a tire is until you ride on a new one! I changed the oil, filter, tranny fluid and checked the primary chain while I had the bike apart too. I'll never be able to get the image of that truck pulling a trailer passing us Saturday....... |

Fun ride on Saturday. Spooking the grazing cattle was hilarious. Thanks LayFayette! Sand = Scary |

Hey Mike, who belongs to that R that was leaning up against the wall under the service department overhang on Saturday? It didn't appear to be yours. |

Back on two wheels. It isn't pretty but it is ride-able. I didn't have to take off the tensioner, I could get to the rear band clamps with a 10" extender. I finally finished putting all the pieces needed to ride on last night at about 11:00 pm. Rode to work today, of course it is pouring rain now. Hopefully it will clear by quittin' time. Before I crashed, I was having problems with my turn indicators. They were/are not working. I tried replacing the control cluster on the left side and the flasher unit, neither solved the problem, anyone have any idea where to look next? If you see someone on a busted up Uly using hand signals – that's me. be good, |

Hey Mike. the new Mobil 1 V-twin oil... and of course the Buell oil filter are working really well... I hope.. At least the engine sounds great and seems to run smoother.. |

The rain looks like a given again tonight. I'm going to head straight home after work. I hope the weather is better next Wednesday evening. |

yup, looks like we would have to paddle rather than ride tonight. I'm in Vegas next week so it'll be 2 weeks for my next opportunity to join in. CYA guys in 2 weeks. Mark glad to see you're back in the saddle! |

I had to drive my car for the 7th work day in a row today. I guess that means no Barnie's tonight. |

No kidding Rich. I wonder if that was anything like the cell that went through my office area. It was blowing rain inside the DC through the closed bay doors - everything got soaked. The wind was so hard I couldn't open the door to go outside. The big, fancy cigarette butt holder I have for smokers got blown apart sending cigarette butts all over the parking lot. Guess who went out and picked them all up? Yup, all the smokers. I told them they had to empty that thing periodically and they didn't. There were hundreds, if not thousands of butts all over the lot. |

I had a really nice ride yesterday. Went to visit a new client in Green Cove Springs. I met up with my boss in Windermere at 7:00 am and went from there to Apopka via Apopka Vineland road out 441 to 44 to 19 through Umatilla, Altoona, Ocala National Forest, Salt Springs to 17 to 16 were the CIA has an operatives trainiing center. Spent the day on the clients 47 foot trawler, left at 5:30 back the way we came, saw some deer that were trying to get across 19, missed every drop of rain. Got home at 8:00 p.m. Cannot beat biking and boating in the same day. And get paid for it. be good, |

It looks like the weather might hold off for a Wednesday night get-together. I know it's a bit too early to tell, but we can keep our fingers crossed. |

Sunday started with a 20% rain forecast for today. It's now 60% and I caged it this morning in the rain. I guess we'll try again next week. |

Travis, Where off Colonial were you riding? I've seen a bunch of Buell's around my office which I believe is very close to your school. I operate the Barnie's Coffee DC/Mail Order/Call Center just off OBT on W. Landstreet Road and ride a black Lightning with amber rims (FL plate "BUY USA"). |

The part of Colonial that i ride to hit the corners are on east colonial a little bit past an RV camping place. I know right where your shop is. I do drive past it all the time. Hey anyone in Orlando with a Buell down to go for a day long ride in the back country. I know of some really nice roads. I was thinking about around the 4th of july. Post something back if it sounds ike a good idea to anyone. |
