Hi everyone, I'm having problems detaching the IAT sensor so I can get to the rear spark plug.
The manual says, "Remove IAT sensor from grommet on bottom of baseplate." Do you just pull it through the bottom or twist if off from the bottom? Help! I just got this bike, sorry for the noob question.

The IAT remains in the airbox base (although it can be removed) and the cable connector underneath has a small clip you depress with your finger.
Once released the connector comes apart very easily and doesn't require any real force - 'less is more' in this situation. .

Now, having said all that - it is possible to remove the rear plug with the airbox base in place from what others have posted here on Badweb. I haven't personally removed a rear plug with the base in place and take the opportunity to check the plug leads and idler adjuster for placement and wear.
