Scott,Jesternut may come but not too early.
Say....8:30a? I like early,especially regarding Newport,RI.Close proximity to the water,and cooler than inland.Nice little twisties at "10 Mile Drive" then we can head north thru Bristol towards Rehoboth/Taunton to leave you and Jim,them i can head back south on 138

NEWS FLASH....THIS JUST IN!!!!!
im packin up my shiiit right now and headed to the in laws in weymouth so i can come for the ride tomorrow they've agreed to babysit for me in the morning.
i'll post up later when i get there.....jim lets hook up for the ride down in the AM |

Greg, my buddy called just as I posted, so I left just b4 you posted. The ride was nothing special, just cruised around newport, ate and just got back.
My arms are on fire! Should have used some sunblock.
I don't think the bike likes this HOT weather... |

No,except for "10 mile drive" it isn't much.We'll have some good twisties between Newport and Taunton tomorrow though. |

here's the verdict: it popped a little last night on the way home. mostly between 2-3 grand, but not on hard downshifting. today, after pushing, or should i say trying to push hard on the way to work, it popped and i deffinitely noticed that hesitation between 3 and 4, like you said scott. it's like riding a 2 stroke with a weak powerband. mr tattoo, if your out there could i try a copy of your map? see how that goes? peace y'all |

Don't run his map. You need to datalog, and Tattoo can do that (when he's available). I datalogged with Eric's rig today,and I've got all the symptoms of a young datalog (1 run). Popping and hesitation, but my hesitation is between 2-3K. Eric put in 5 good runs today, and he's actually happy with his fueling for the first time in I-don't-know-how-long. As picky as he is, I would've figured him for gay, but that's besides the point. Morale of the story: starter map, datalog, datalog, datalog, datalog.
Throttle happiness.
Shall we turn tomorrow's run into a datalog-fest? Who feels like wearing a backpack in 90 degree heat? |

So i think it's Myself,Susie for breakfast

If there were a more convienient breakfast spot,it's probably too late to adjust and be sure everyone's informed.
I've got a nice ride planned from Newport back towards Taunton.It will put us back in Taunton by around 11:30a-12p.

Damn I would like to ride in Newport too!!!
I have one more baseball game tomorrow at 10am. Last one as it is a make up game for us.
Then the season is done.

CHANGE OF PLANS,ATTENTION:
We'll be better served at "The Barn".See the
link below TO the Barn in Little Compton.Notice it's at the end of a secondary road(rt81) which has direct access from a major highway.then we can backroad it back towards Taunton.They have a nice outdoor canopied patio that should serve us all well.Newport is a slab,and i sought to include new Buellers.
