I started reading the site during his rebuild of the bike and was pretty amazed and do realize it is not your everyday bike. I just wanted to tease him for owning buells and never bringing them.....then again, I would probably rather the duc too!! |

little more pop than before. otherwise it seems to rev fine. i'll give it a bit more air when i dissect my airbox fully. we'll see how that goes before i start begging for the royal treatment again. special thanks to scotty for the hook up. |

could this be the shitiest feeling ever?
talking with a friend last night, he and another guy went out for a ride wednesday night. he on his roadking and the guy on a softail. the guy an the softail just had new bars and risers put on a few days ago(rubber mounted risers). while riding down the road at about 45-50 his new risers pulled right out of the triple tree....hmmm handlebars still in you hands but not connected to the bike, what to do ,what to do. h from what i was told he had no choice but to mash the rear break and lay the bike down...sliding directly under the front of an oncoming car bike first. and walked away unhurt.
moral of the story...another good reason to do your own work. apparently the risers were way over torqued which allowed the supplied hardware to strip an pull right thru the triple tree!

My baby girl graduated High school last nite. Got a grad party/cook-out this afternoon to whenever the booze or fire wood runs out.
Think I'll stay local this week.

Hey Jp have you seen that 08 white firebolt in Grafton? I was talking to one of my friends yesterday and he told me he was friends with him. I guess he fell in love with Buell after test riding my buddies old lightning. I told him to pass the word about NEBO and try to get him to post up. |

Well then Dan,let's do the Barn in Little Compton for breakfast then the Compton/Westport loop.I can get into that.I've been doing the Thompson loop for weeks now,and the "Barn" loop is a little more local for us.

Or,speaking of Aquidneck,we could do "Poor Richards" in Newport if Itsablast comes out.THen 10 mile drive...Or a Rehoboth loop.

My new High scool grad is already inrolled in NE Tec. 16,500 a year bergers an dawgs won't be cheep. |
