Loose the plastic, raise the exhaust and get some decent bars. Then you will be cooking with crisco. Here is a conversion from advrider:

A few years ago I was at a Yamaha VMax meeting in Belgium when I cam across this VMax. And yes, those are extra fuell tanks on the side. |

D616's don't make it a dirt bike. It's a Gixxer with really crappy tires. |

Problem with a 4 cylinder, IMHO, there's not a whole lot of low end grunt (most of the power is higher up), which doesn't work well in the dirt, and means you have to keep the revs up, as well. |

It's a 48 cylinder Suzuki. I seem to recall it was made up from 24 250 twins, all welded up to form a sort W48. Apparently it works, they all fire up and it's rideable. Sort of. ! |

I read about that sicko 48 (46?) whatever.... I seem to recall that it would run the tank dry in 15 miles or something awful like that |

You know you can put knobbies on anything and run her off road hard and fast, its just a matter of how many times you get to do it |

You can even ride an R1 around the world: Actually, knowing that, and having ridden sport bikes on some pretty rough, not paved roads and sandy lots at campgrounds, helped me decide that the Uly was off road capable enough for some fun and not have to settle for a klr on the street. |
