Latus HD/Buell in Oregon is sponsoring the Portland Buell Riders (www.badweatherbikers.com/pbr) and gave us great treatment at a track day yesterday. A cut of my post there allready... A particular word of thanks to George Latus himself who showed up for the fun. When one of our number broke a belt at the exit of turn five, George loaded the bike in his personal pick up truck and personally drove it to the shop. He was on the phone by the time we had the bike back in the pits confirming the parts were in-stock and having the shop set up to change it as soon as the bike arrived. Not often does the OWNER of a dealership give this kind of service. Thanks again for everything! Let's show Latus how loud a voice the Badweb has, and make sure to say where you're from in the post! I support the sponsors every chance I get. They helped me with a seized rear wheel bearing last year after riding Sport Bike & Dual sport on the Buelly for 9 days. The abuse took its toll. They had the parts in stock, and me back on the road by 2pm. Great shop. Met a couple of Buellers there and passed the time while my dirty orange bike was in the ER. Only thing better than a fully loaded R.A.N. is a dealer that goes above and beyond like that. THANKS again guys, see you this year in August for SBNW & DSNW. Good luck with the racing efforts. | ||
