One of my mate's had a go on my Uly and said it was great but there was no back brake! On inspection I found that the rear foot brake lever had fallen down, the 2 bolts holding the bracket fixing the brake system to the footpeg frame were gone! They must have worked themselves loose! Has anyone ever experienced this? The bike's only done 2500 miles, it's an '06 bike. Blots ordered from my dealer & I'll use Loctite when fixing. |

Yours is the first I've read about. I think rarely the Loctite gets forgotten on some fasteners (must be those late Friday afternoon/early Monday morning builds). |

It happened to mine after 100 miles. An 06 Uly BTW. I just ordered some more bolts and put it back on. Dealer didn't seem to care all that much when I called , but they did send me new bolts for FREE. If it was an HD they may have sent a recovery vehicle to help me out. |

That's one way to learn to ride without the rear brake. That happened to me on my first bike back in the day. |

If my rear brake pedal fell off it would probably be days before i would notice. Thing hardly works and the compression braking is stronger anyways |
