A couple people came to the Grandview bike nights last year. It's technically a "European" bike night... but the guys in charge like Buells, and say we are very welcome. The last few I went to, the Buells were outnumbered by Ducati's by 10 to 1. NOT GOOD! I won't even mention how many Beemers were there. I dissapeared for awhile. The bikes been frustrating me, so I've been workin on cars. Some work on my Audi, all kinds of work on the girlfriends new beetle, and I just convinced my dad to buy a POS 1988 Volkswagen Cabriolet (convertible) that I can't wait to start rebuilding... which will go to my brother for a college car. I'm also working too much and dealing with stupid classes. I'm still riding the beast about every day... but I've got to put a quart of oil in it once a week.  | ||

damn, hope you get that solved, it sucks daily driving something that leaks/consumes a ton of oil (damhik) | ||

Any idea what that oil consumption problem is? Have done a leak down? I changed my primary fluid the other day and it looked like capucino... Not good... | ||

Oil is spewing out the rear rocker box. Not a big deal... just another thing. I'm also thinking an isolator might be going out. I can't tell if its vibrating more now, or if it's all in my head. But the thing vibrated so much that it actually broke a tab off the tail section, and it vibrated the horn tab in half too. |
