Ok so I gotta local guy that is all about you cant ride that Buell off road because it doesnt have a 21 inch wheel. He's on a KTM and wont give it a rest. yadda yadda yadda Having ridden a KLR250 for years, I know the advantage of the taller wheel for narrow single track and the more aggressive hoopdees. But I need some off road pics of people riding their ULYS in off pavement areas to give him a good dose of his own medicine. Bring on your muddy, dirty, off pavement, off camber, air catchin, back woods best. Thanks. (he actually accused me of photoshopping mine) |

OK, CityXslicker, here you go. This photo was taken on the way to the Bar 10 ranch on the way to the N rim of the Grand Canyon. The MUD was so stickey that me and my brother had to take the front fenders off our bikes to get back to St. George UT. He was riding a 950 KTM ADVENTURE S and since his brake line ran over the top of the fender, he had a much hadrer time getting through this mud. We both went down as a result of our front tire not wanting to turn. He acually had a tougher time than me in spite of his 21" front tire due to the complications of his dual disc brakes and the additional brake line routed over the top of the fender. I simply removed the four bolts and my front fender and was on my way.

You can take a Vespa off road if you're hardcore... It's (how crazy) the rider (is), not the bike. |

I have caught some pretty serious air on a rented Vespa and the Ruckus should never be left unattended while camping. |

They were the Dunlop 616's, but I do not think it would have made any difference what tread they were. As soon as we slowed to under about 25 mph, they not only loaded up, but their diameter grew by about 2 inches due to the mud/clay build up. I've never experenced anything like that before or since then......... |
