I am listing this for a buddy of mine. This used to be my wife's bike until he bought it, but he is now moving unexpectedly and can't take the bike with him. Details K&N Race ECM D&D pipe Tires have less than 300 miles on them. Traction Grips Oil change roughly 500 miles ago (mobil 1 Syn) The bike has somewhere in the ballpark of 6200 miles on it. He is still riding it up until he moves next thursday. This bike is a 9/10 and is in great condition mechanically and cosmetically it needs NOTHING. If you have any questions about the bike feel free to call. Chris- (920) 203-8374 or Jared- (920) 202-4043 Pictures to be posted in the next couple days hopefully. *Revised bike milage* (Message edited by chrisrogers3 on May 23, 2008) |

http://appleton.craigslist.org/mcy/691195865.html Here is the link for the Craigslist ad. You will notice that the pictures have a Buell Race can, the bike as of Sunday will have a D&D unless someone buys it off of him before then. I can help deliver the bike as well if need be, all I ask is I get reimbursed for fuel costs. (Message edited by chrisrogers3 on May 23, 2008) |

Bump. The bike will be here in WI until this Thursday then after that Jared (owner) will be trailering it out to MI (LP). Its a perfect time to make him an offer before he goes through the trouble of trailering it and trying to find the room with all of his other crap. |

I offered $3900 but he is stuck on $4400... too much. Truthfully, bike is pretty dirty/grimey, so I wonder how well it was taken care of and maintained. Ran out well enough though. Did you buy it new for the wife? What history do you have on this bike? |

As far as the History on the Bike I bought it from a guy out in MN about 18 months ago if I remember right. He bought it from a local Harley dealer (not sure which one) and then he deployed to Iraq shortly after buying it but he did manage to put on around 5000 miles. I went to look at it and the guy took pretty good care of it. As soon as I bought it I slapped new tires on it gave it a full service and switched it over to Mobil 1 Syn and gave it to my wife for her wedding gift. My wife put probably 500 miles on it before I changed the oil again and that was at about 5500 miles. I also put the Pro Series plugs in it because I fouled a set trying to get the thing to start in 35 degree temps. The pro series plugs fixed this problem. Well my wife loved the bike, but she decided to go overbudget on our new house so I said something's gotta give, so she sold the bike to my buddy about 2 or 3 months ago and well she now has another bike in the collection so I just dont have a chance to buy it back otherwise I would. I can personally speak for the care I have given it while it was in my possession. I have owned 4 XB's and a blast now and I keep service records on everything. You can also talk to Andy at Appleton Harley what his opinion is about my level of bike care. Now for the condition of the bike after Jared bought it, I personally cannot account for, but I do know that he has only put about 300 miles on the bike. The last I seen the bike it was looking good. I personally feel $4000 is what the bike is truly worth with the current market and the recent change of ownership, but it is his bike and if he is sticking to the $4400 there isnt much i can do to influence that. I personally offered him $3800 because thats all I could come up with at the time. I feel bad that he has to sell it with just buying it a couple months ago because he is ultimately going to lose money no matter how you look at it. I dont think the guy has run over 2 tanks of gas through the bike. Any more questions feel free to ask. |
