Firstly I'll app for the newbness... I have my eye on an 1125r that was purch in dec 07. the early prod makes me nervous... But the price 95, and the mileage, 250, are just right. What issues should I expect, and will most of them be cleared by the new reflashes ive been reading about? thnx: Andy chicago |

2 days left, if you can pick it up for your opening bid, go for it. I got my first Buell, an 03 Firebolt like that. 7600 bucks with 300 miles on it. Some teething issues, nothing BMC hasn't taken care of. My 1125R was built November 6th and I've got over 7700 miles on it. Lost count of the smiles months ago. Z |

The factory warranty follows the bike so go for it, great price! |

I have an early production bike, nothing but smiles from me Small issues, but nothing major, and once you twist that throttle or tear up some canyons, you won't care anyway... |

Mine was 3xx built Dec 07. Put Throttlemeisters and 1000miles on it and its great! Ok, there are a few niggling issues with the mapping, but Buell has always been good at fixing that (I bought an early 99 S3 - ie first fuel-injection - in Jan 99) |

mine was built in Dec '07 and I have had one electrical issue (which has not resurfaced again so far) and a VERY occasional stumble at a certain RPM. Other than that, it has been spot on. I would say go for it....BUT just know that there doesnt SEEM to be any rhyme or reason to the varying problems and severity of said problems. Also with 250 miles, you get to finish the break-in of the bike...and looking at the chicken strips on that baby, the original owner probably didn't do any flogging to the virgin engine. Did he mention WHY he was selling? |

says because of his job he has no time and that he's selling his bagger too. claims he's had no surging issues and the bike runs flawless... sketchy at best! |

Yes warranty is transferable. Make sure you get the paperwork from dealer before you complete the transaction as the seller needs to supply some info and sign. |

Just to clarify, the factory warranty follows the bike automatically. If there is an extended service plan in place that needs to be transfered with some paperwork through the dealer. Dealers will also have owner transfer notifications that they can send into buell so that you would be listed as the current owner in their records should there be any safety campaigns or recalls. |

Well not sure about that but when I sold my '06 Uly I could have sworn the paperwork I picked up from the dealer included the standard warranty as well as the extended. |

Yeah, that would be me. I figured at that price I couldn't pass it up. The original owner took much of the new bike hit so even if I re-sell it, I won't lose too much. I rode one at Pocono Raceway and loved it. Plus now Kevin has a test mule for his 1125 Drummer. I'm still not too keen on how it looks though. I had the money set aside for an 1125S if and when it comes out so I may end up trading this one in. |

One for $9K in the classified section. 'Course it's in NM i think. Definitely set my target value for one. Well, congrats. I was kinda hoping it'd get no bids again and he'd go lower and/or list it here. I don't do ebay. Now the guys are really going to be nagging for a Drummer. |
