Really? I was thinking it would be under the seat. Not bad place for it. Cool, can use my GPS. |

Not exactly under the instrument cluster, more like up near the point of the fairing, but on the bottom and inside the fairing. I had to remove the fairing to find mine. |

All I had to do is remove my "windshield". It is more in front of the cluster behind the support. There are a few plugs. I was able to get my fingers or tools in there and get the plug free. No need to remove the fairing if you are patient. Of course it would be real easy after removing the fairing. |

mine was tucked up under the support and I had to cut a ziptie to get it out. I also ended up snipping off the plug and soldering on another automotive plug that I had a mate to. the pins that will go into the mating stock plug are not available from BMC...I have tried...bummer really |
