Al & r-t HUH! WHAT! Yeah, you'd think I'd learn after losing almost 30% of my hearing over the last ten years. I used to have a car stereo that could be heard 700 miles away, that all ended when my daughter was born. She loves the way the Buell sounds now though, she laughs and giggles when I go up the road. I have a good pair of plugs that have a diaphram in them or something that closes up as the noise gets louder but I always forget them. Justin |

This was on an eBay ad (it's not for sale, the picture is just in the ad.) Anybody know what it is? |

Yeah...I do. One of THE ugliest bikes I have ever seen. Seriously. Certainly original. That's a plus I guess. |

Blacksix, I thought at first you were talking about my bike, then I noticed you own a black m2 also. I guess I did ask for comments! Tim |

What do ya think? I'm thinking of fitting this headlight fairing on my M2'99. Either on the forklegs or to the frame (S2 style, having the forks moving "around" the fairing mount). I'll be able to fit the tach as well on the new dashboard ;-) Any comments, tips or tricks??

Bull, I like. Looks like it belongs there, continues the tank lines well. That's photoshopped in? What is it, how much is it? Al |

Bull, Be careful to allow clearance for the fork legs/signals/dash if you are frame mounting, you will probably have to move it out further than the picture shows. Personally on that small a fairing I'd be tempted to mount to the exiesting hardware. Good looking fairing for the m2! Tim |

LOL Totway! I wasn't talking about YOUR bike. I don't care for that particular twin light set up...but I like the streetfighter look. Thats cool. I was talking about that horrid...albeit original...HD pic that RT posted. BTW RT...could you post that pic of your "stable" for all the new fellas. (The rest of us can "drool" again.) |

Black6: I'd be glad to, but somebody's gotta buy that Confederate first! Once it's gone, I'm lusting after BHR's 80" S1! r-t |

Thanks for the comments Guys! Yes its "Photoshopped" in place and I'm not an expert... The fairing is from a scooter (moped), Gilera DNA (low price, decent headlight 50/50w, good finish). It looks really cool from in front as well. I've seen this on a Duc SS and it looked great. He had it mounted to the frame though. In that case it has to be mounted a bit further in order to get clearance of the forklegs. I'll keep you posted if/when I'm going to fit this. Cheers/Jonas |
