When in stop&go traffic or riding hard on some louisiana back roads, the Speedo will be showing ''0'' (no speed). Has this happen to anybody or shed some light. The temp (engine) reading range this happens 205-220. I can hit the kill switch on/off (while I press in clutch) to reset the bike, and the speedo registers again. Full story in Question & Answers thread (where I placed it 1st) |

Sounds like a speedo sensor failing. Just take it in for a warranty fix. Should be simple enough. |

The only reason I look down is too learn my bike like @ 96-97 mph 2nd gear its 10300-10500rpm on some louisiana back roads (for future track practice). For in town I check often because I have a couple ''fast bike badges.'' So, the Speedo is important both ways, plus its a awesome instrument cluster to look @, just tryin to get fixed. |
