I will be riding west to the res ride entering at the Morgantown entrance to the PA TWP. I am planning on leaving Mid morning on Friday. Anyone else riding west on the PA TWP that wants to connect up? Looks like I will be staying down the road a bit west of Altoona on Friday night. |

My friend Dave and I are leaving Philly around 3:00 pm. Let Dave not be confused with "Sprinkles" who I brought last year. Although Sprinkles wanted to come, he won't be able to make it. Last year was a bunch of fun and I'm sure this year will be just as good if not better. Dave is bringing his BMW, so no elites jokes. J/k haha. I also want to apologize again for the hotel problem. Holiday Inn has changed the rules to how many rooms I can get at a reduced rate. It would behoove you to mention the friends and family rate though. So as of now I’m riding home Sat. So see you all this weekend, I hope to get there around 7:30 Fri and I'll call Dan "Toona" when I arrive. |

Could someone please summarize the plan for Saturday (where to meet, what time, and what the route is)? I've read through the whole thread and don't know where to be on Saturday morning should the moons all line up and I'm free to ride. I'll be coming from Murrysville and could be in Latrobe (or other points east) at whatever time needed. Early starts are fine with me... Thanks! |

Breakfast: Tom and Joe's 8:00 downtown Altoona, 1201 13th Ave My Shop/HQ 550 N 5th St Bellwood, PA if using Mapquest/GPS use 600 N 5th St. as your destination address. The first "loop" ride will be around 10:00 a.m. After each loop, we will return to the shop to pick up any "late comers". Someone will be at the shop all day. So if you arrive after we leave to do a loop, You'll be able to hang out until we return. We will be leaving to go to lunch around 12 noon. Should return around 2-2:30. After that, we have the option of running more loops or going to the local Honda shop for the dyno runs (listed above). Somewhere around 4:00 we need to get Alchemy to his Teaberry ice cream If you need to call me: eight one four 932-7405 Dan - Toona (Message edited by Toona on May 26, 2008) |

Anyone going to need/want to have a TPS reset? It will only take about 5 minutes for each bike. I just need to bring my laptop up from the house. BTW, no charge for the TPS reset. |

I would love to see the ECMSPY SW used to do a TPS reset. I have a cable I can bring if anyone else has the SW and is familiar with the method and has the SW loaded on a laptop. |

Last year we went out to Ruby Tuesdays and grabbed a bite to eat for those that came in from out of town. Just a note: there is a lot of road repairs on I-99. State police are watching it very close. Speed limit is 50 thru construction zones. |

Wow, what can I say. Great Day, great rides, great friends - both new and old! Oh yeah, great BBQ at Clem's! It was nice to meet all the new guys, 05mx, Garry, Peeping_jon, Mrs Dano, etc etc etc. All told, I think there were around 20 riders today. Once again, thanks for coming over and playing in my "playground". For those of you who were here last year, whad'ya think of the new "format"? Any suggestions? Things can always be tweaked to make them better. I think next year we might do a "Chinese fire drill" at a stop sign. I call dibs on either one of Dano's Buells until the next stop sign, then I'll switch again! BTW: I was so busy being forgetful, I didn't take any pictures today. If you have them post them up, if you need them resized, email them to me and I can take care of them. Thanks! |

Thanks Dan, for the fun day. I never knew Altoona had curves like that. Eric make sure your buddy doesn't overshoot anymore turns like he did. |

Dan, thanks for the great day! Always a great area to ride. No problem with the bike swap! Just have 700 miles on the 1125r, still getting use to it! (Blackbeast) Looking forward to the fall ride. Maybe I can pry Mrs. Dano off the XT for you to check out also! |

Obligatory group shot
A sweet bi-polar M2, orange on this side, black on the other. I'm growing to like the Tuber's. This one has me looking for one even more.
Dano_12s was sporting two new Buells, his sweet 1125R and Mrs Dano_12s was sporting a bright shiney red XT!
Got leather?
Mrs Dano_12s keeping an eye on her red XT, you can see her peaking between Dano next to the XT and Chasman (white shirt, back to camera). Jefco and his father (I believe) make an appearance at the Res Ride. Jefco was in town visiting family from NC on his Sunset Ss.
More pics to come as I resize them (Message edited by Toona on May 26, 2008) |

My personal favorite (Thanks to whoever took this picture.)
I have all the high resolution pictures that were sent to me. If you'd like me to email one/some to you, let me know which one(s). |

Your bike is beautiful. One of my faves. If any other pics of it please post so I can show it off here at work. Till next time. Jon |

Hey Wolfie, Clem's isn't much to look at, but the BBQ sure is worth the ride, hint hint hint BTW, if you move your WV ride (next year) a week earlier or later I can probably make it to your ride. It always fall on the same w/e as the NHRA drags in PA. |
