I know what you're talking about. I took the MSF class in '04, at age 46, after a 20+ year layoff. Bought a slightly used EX250 (Ninja 250)that week and rode it until May '05 when I bought the Harley. Right on the demographic schedule of 47 years old. I still love it for what it is. A thing I can finally keep clean for lazy sunny days and long haul trips. The TT for commuting to work and blasting the stress of life away. I think a multi bike hobby is cheaper than a multi woman one. I want to cheat on my bike and my wife wants to keep me from cheating on her! |

Brand new Uly owner. Well, brand new 06. I just got off an 01 fltri r/glide that I rode for 112k miles. Now that I'm thru chemo & not working I plan to put some real miles on this new scooter. This site is gr8t & once I get my username registered I'll go to BB&dirty with some questions. I see some real knowledge there in some of the replies & I hope that dude, Thunder-somethin or other, is around. Not to dis any of the other posters but his was the only name I could kind of remember. Anyone recognize the road in the foto? In this shot that's 750lbs of HD under me. The 1st time I rode it was on a peaky & ported over carbureted X6 that ran (hint) fine at the start but was choking at mile 7. Can't wait to hit it on my Uly! I sure am having a tough time trying to post a hello on here. I don't know as I'll even be able to sign on a username - never mind tryin to get that foto to post. If the post does come out, "Hello to all from Rocket in Hollywood, FL." |

Hi everyone my name is Taylor. Just bought my first Buell it's a 2008 white/blue firebolt, even though I've been around them since 2001. I got hooked on them when I worked for Brian Nallin when he was here in Shreveport, La. as Nallin Racing Head Service. Been hooked ever since |

Welcome Taylor! Have we met? Brian and Alan had my Cyclone in the Shreveport shop back in 2001. It's still running strong. Those were good times! |

Hello! I am a new owner of a 2008 XT - and couldn't be happier. Previous rides include VFRs (2), and a Road King. I often muse that the XT just might be their love child. Torque like the Road King paired with his Mom's coloring... Been fortunate enough to have the time to have taken a trip from CO to CA and back again so far. Putting hundreds and hundreds of miles on it a day is no problem at all with the stock seat. This will probably be the first bike I have not needed to buy an after market seat for. Yipee! Been lurking for some time on this board, and have been impressed with both the knowledge and personalities. Looking forward to more smiles and miles... |

Hello all you badweatherbikers, I'm new to this fantastic site chalk full of great information. Just bought a 2002 Buell Blast and so far really like the ride - sure beats the old Hondas and Kawasakis I've rode over the years. I'll add some pics soon before I make a few mods like handlebars, seat, exhaust, and add a few accessories. I found the attached image of a decal on the site - wonder if anyone knows where to purchase these? My local Buell dealer has no Buell decals or merchandise and I'm really bummed! Andrew in Urbana IL

Hello from Australia guys and gals. My name is Matt and I've just joined up here. I've been lurking for a while looking for a bike to grow old with and I've narrowed it down to 2 choices. A S1, the baddest of the bad IMHO, and an 08 XB12Ss if I was to go new. The S1 is winning at the moment though.... Hope to see you about here and thanks for the BEST motorcycle website around. Happy riding! Matt. |

What's up Buell Freaks... Picked up my first Buell a 2007 XB12S in Jan this year and I love it! Took it to VIR for a Buell Inside Pass and I think I am hooked on Buell. I have put nearly 5000 miles on it so far and only a minor hick-up with a sensor. A great machine to ride, holds a line like no other (preaching to the choir). Keep that thing upright!!! Chris |
