From a press release issued by Ruthless Racing: VANCOUVER, BC -- Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada and Ruthless Racing Inc., a North Vancouver owned and operated racing team, have joined forces this year for the 2008 Parts Canada Superbike Series. This joint effort will see the Buell motorcycles competing in the Superbike and Canadian Thunder classes of the series. This will also be the Canadian racing debut for the Buell 1125R in both classes and the international debut for the Buell 1125R in a competitive Superbike class. Deeley has hired Maple Ridge-based rider, Steve Crevier, Canada’s all-time road racing champion, to ride the new 1125R in the Superbike class. Darren James, owner/operator of Ruthless Racing, the only West Coast-based team to compete at a National level, says he is “thrilled to have someone so talented putting his efforts forth with Buell’s new venture.” Darren James will compete to recapture the Championship crown in Canadian Thunder that he has held previously in 2005 and 2006. A vigorous off-season training regimen with Twist Sport Conditioning, whose clients include the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks, has James ready to compete at the highest level. Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada and Ruthless Racing Inc. have also hired Dave Estok to join their efforts in the Canadian Thunder class. The Florida-based rider is the American Sport Bike Association (ASRA) Thunderbike Champion in 2007 and also in 2003 and 2005. Estok’s efforts are being supported in Canada and in the U.S. Thunderbike series for the 2008 season. Round 1 of the 2008 Parts Canada Superbike Series is this weekend, May 22-25, in Calabogie, Ontario. For the complete racing schedule, please check out the website at www.ruthlessracinginc.com.
