I just went into the dealer today to ask about the cost of the first service, they told me that another reflash came out. I already had the reflash that is on this site done. I'm wondering if there is another reflash, and what it corrects. |

Michael: Can you get some numbers to ID the new "flash". That would tell us if it was different. The first one was: campaign #0502, bulletin #B-071 |

Ccryder, the dealer told me it was a new reflash. Not #0502 which was already done to my bike. I might take it in for the first service tomorrow so I will ask about it. I was just interested if anyone knew about it and what it corrects. |

Well let me know what you find out. I have an appt. for Thursday and want to make sure they have the latest if there is a new one. |

Rdmwc, I'll call Buell about it tomorrow. I think my bike will be in for the service tomorrow if I can find a ride. I test rode a 2008 Ducati 1098S last week and if the Buell programmers can get the 1125R fuel maps and spark as smooth as the Duc, it would be awesome! I think it will just take some time. At least the Buell ecm is flashable where like the Duc would be a replacement ecm. The Duc was a great bike but I think I will like my 25R more when the bugs are all worked out. If they do have a new flash like they told me, I'll have them do it and let you guys know what happens. |

What I have heard in regards to the clunky and rough feelings below 3k rpm, is that Buell had to find a sweet spot for the low torque band, so they decided on between 4500revs to 8500revs. And there an additional 3500 to 4000 rpms on the Rotax built engine that the air cooled XB never had available, so they had to get in that zone. Granted I am glad it is not in the 8000k to 14000k zone for the Powerband like all IL4's I know. Forgive my #'s if not all exact just throwin' my 2 on the table. One thing I do know that I am glad that Buell jumped into the 21st century with 1125R. And so glad I bought one, it has so much unaddressed (yet) potential. Forgive the rant. |

I called Buell this morning and they do not have a new reflash out. They only have the one out at this time. Went to the dealer and they show me a new program number and the number of the flash that my bike had weeks ago. They could not get the new flash to work today. Had no communications with the bike. wtf? Who's right? |

FYI... I was on the phone today with a BMC 1125 tech///VIA customer service, questioning many things...including this subject. THERE IS NO OTHER UPDATE AT THIS TIME OTHER THAN THE ONE WE ALREADY HAVE LISTED HERE. |
