Ok, my 1125R is waiting for me at the dealership right now. (Won't be able to pick it up till June... Sigh... This wait sucks.) When I test rode the 1125R I found that with my wide feet that the pegs were a tad small and I would catch the cover on the brake side. Want to extend them. Zac extended his pegs, but I can't remember what he used. I know he used a spacer of some sort. I guess this is more directed at him. What I want to know is what was the spacer and did you have to get a new/longer bolt for the pegs. If so, what size? |

Ryan - I think it was Bearly that first posted about this, not sure, but it wasn't my idea first. I modified a spacer I had in the garage, moved the toe-peg out about a quarter inch. Yes, I used a longer bolt. I'll go check the thickness and bolt length. BRB Z |

Original bolt is a 5mm x 20mm long. Spacer I added is a little over 10mm, or 0.405" and the new bolt is 5mm x 30mm long. I tried to keep the same thread engagement. Z |

Wasn't me. But it's a great idea. I put the dropped XB12Ss pegs on mine which cause me to lower the shifter and the brake lever by quite a bit. I think I have less of problem finding the levers now just with the different pegs. So that's an option. Here's the link for the thread that has some pictures of those pegs. (looks like I hijacked that thread? Oops). It's down at the bottom. No_rice, so you like those... sounds good. |

The longer toe pegs from American Sport Bike work great. Far better than stock. |

Hm. Might just buy a set of those now. Sigh, you guys are making me spend more $. Those new toes, are they for both sides? Also, do they screw right in and fit and work well? |
