Here is the issue. under load bike runs bad and when open throttle or tall hill ign fuse will blow. the fuse blew 3 time today. 2000 x-1. Any advice would be appreciated!

The fuse is blowing because of a high amperage load. Does the bike run fine otherwise? I.E. only run bad under heavy load? If it runs fine otherwise.......

I'm thinking of a vibration issue at certain rpm ranges. So, is your ignition switch loose in the panel. Are the switch internals worn. Either/both could cause a resistance increase, which will blow the fuse.

Is the ignition kill switch on the handlebar in good condition. Corrosion or loose internals here could cause a resistance problem.

Last but not least is the ever popular loose connection/chaffed wire problem. Including battery cables, fuse connections, and relay connections.

Often bad running under load can be a bad eng temp sensor, but I don't believe that would blow a fuse.

Hope some of this makes sense, and helps. Please let us know what you find.

Is the fuse the correct amperage? I'm leaning toward a wire problem, but I'm assuming the fuses didn't blow consecutively. Need a manual to further troubleshoot.

It's probably chaffed through somewhere.

An easy way to isolate the bad area is to unplug everything possible, turn it on, and plug everything in, starting close to the fusebox and moving outward. However, since it only blows when running, this would likely be ineffective.

A general looky-see is in order. I'd start following the wiring at the regulator, and see if it's rubbing on that nice, rough engine case somewhere, m'self.

thanks for the replies, the weird thing is how it runs bad under load even when not blowing the fuse. If I baby it, it will run, just not well. The wires all look good but I am going to look harder today.

Issue resolved was the wires that go to the injectors were rubbing against each other. Thanks
