One more thing to remember. Doing a 69 with a 45 is like a Chinese dinner. It ain't over until you both get your cookies! A free air guage to the first person that says which movie a similar line was used. |

Yep, camping sounds great. Oh, did Bob or I tell you about the gal that was killed and eaten by a sow black bear? First trip down there a couple of years ago, a couple were camping over in the national park. Hubby went for a hike, wife got eaten by a sow and her cub. Ofcourse sow bears hate the taste of bikers. You will probably be ok. Fontana's campground is at the base of the Fontana Dam. The rushing water of the nearby river will hide any sounds during the night of you being devoured by pappa bear. Sleep tight. |

DAve, That's a cute little gun. Kinda small for my taste except for killing the family hog for bacon and such. One with a shorter barrel and silencer might be good for "special" work. I know a fellow who was shot seven times with a similar piece. He not only survived but kick the shit out of the two assholes that shot him and called the police to come pick them up. My father was shot twice by a fellow using a .22. That fellow's fate was similar to the previous two assholes except no cops were called. That guy is still alive but uses a wheelchair to get around. Nope, I don't think I would want to tickle a bear with that. You should have no problems with bears there anyway. That sow a couple of years ago was dang near starved to death when she killed the lady. She was so hungry, she would have tried to eat anything. Besides, them thar bars down yander ar might neer pets, compared to them thar northern bars yourn used to. Half the size to. Small nuf to take home and cuddle with. |

#1 Preferred in Alaska by Alaskans..the Ruger Single Six While fishing in Alaska, I'd always show interest in the side of steel some tourists had belted to their hip. Normally it was the loud obnoxious feller creating havoc on the river and generaly pissin' everyone else off. Just not playin' nicely and eager to blow a hole in anything that moved. I'd eventually mention that I's lived in AK a while and had the best 'bear protection'. He'd perk up and expect some sort of cannon but I'd show him my lil .22 in my back pack. He'd laugh and say somethin' like "boy you ain't gonna stop no bear with that pea shooter!" I'd smirk, give him a cold steely look with an eye brow raised and reply, "Bear? All I have to do is outrun you" After that they'd normally give plenty of space and start playin' nicely with the others fishin'. #2 Sleigh bells and Pepper Spray #3 ... my favorite http://www.magnumresearch.com/old/viipistols.html DAve |

But after a bit of a ... mmm ... er ... 'run in' ... I mean discussion with a BMW drivin' cager yuppie who decided to move my XR1000 because he didn't like where it was parked .... We decided carryin' that .44 mag was not a good thing. DAve (Pepper spray works good on BMR cagers too) |
