My oil pressure light does not work, I have replaced the bulb and the wireing looks OK the manual is quite vague about replacing the switch,is it just a case of unscrewing the old one and screwing in a new one, does the oil have to be drained first?any help appreciated, very new to Buells after a lifetime of European bikes, I find this 2001 Cyclone I have very 'different" but highly addictive |

It just screws out, but there is an oil passage behind it. If you're quick, you can screw a new one in without too much oil draining out. Be quick though! (and put a drain pan underneath it anyway) |

David Before you spend the money for the sensor pull the wire off and ground it to test the light and wiring. I have seen this wire cut near the front mount for the shock. Joe |

David Look at the front of the motor in this picture. Just below the oil filter mount is an inverted silver cone, that is the oil PSI sensor. Joe
