Hey guys anyone know where to get some amber lights to replace the front running lights? I want to wire them up for turn signals. |

It's just a 5W push-in lamp. Take one out and go to Auto Zone and match. I re-wired mine when I replaced my mirrors with Firebolt mirrors and just left the OEM bulbs in. Zack |

Go for the LED 194. Much brighter and longer lasting. I went with the "cool white" so they have a blue tinge versus the normal bulbs being a warm white. Any one of the 3 colors should be within your states DOT acceptance. Look here: http://superbrightleds.com/specs/bulb_specs.htm FWIW, don't get carried away with the size (diameter) since they have to fit through the same hole as the stock lights. Neil S. |

Ok switched them out and all wired. Got the bulbs from pepboys, but would like brighter ones. Ccryder so many to choose from witch one did you get as I am not sure of the size? By the way I am running crg bar ends with the darkhorse moto blanks in the mirrors. Love the way she looks without the mirrors on! Ah nevermind I figured it out thanks. Got 3 different kinds to try out they are so cheap. (Message edited by bigeasy on May 14, 2008) |

I got the 6 LED cool white. I think they also had a wide angle option that I also choose. One word of caution (don't ask me how I know) but, be careful when you are pulling the rubber socket out. You can snag the bulb and it will fall out, into the headlight assy. Just call it PITA! Later. |
