Has anyone considered this type of product for use on their Blast? http://www.digatronusa.com/products-motorcycles.sh tml I use their products on my racing karts and they work very well. They are good too for telling head temp, rpm, exhaust temp. etc... |

There are other brands like My-Chron as well. I am going to purchase one for my bike as I am sure it will work flawlessly. |

Thump- In my opinion, the Digatron stuff was ideally suited to dialing in clutch karts. The way they read out rpms is not suitable for much else. I did have lots of experience with their stuff, though. Had a few units over the years - and I did run one on my cr125 powered shifter. Tach was useless on sprint courses. Worked ok-ish on long tracks. I used it to monitor egt, wt, and at least the tach helped with final drive decisions. Something else: Digatron seems to be stuck in early 90's tech. I don't think the products have really moved forward. Of course, I haven't competitively karted in many many moons.... My opinions. Worth every penny paid. -Saro |
