i checked state farm and they quoted me $377 and $344 for a second bike. so i checked progressive and they quoted me $450 for both and $233 for just the Buell. which is way better then the $600 I pay now at Dairyland |

Been using Progressive for the past six years. Never had a problem with them, rates keep going down. Have two bikes and my truck through them. |

Progressive was the highest rate. I will be switching to Sentry as soon as I get off my lazy ass. State farm, wants $1000 per year. |

Progressive was the cheapest for me when I had my Sportster by a good margin - they wanted $400-ish while everyone else was $700+ (State Farm was $1200). When I got the Buell, Progressive want to jack my rate to about $2000. State Farm was now cheaper at $1100. Why Progressive quadrupled and State Farm hardly changed I have no idea. I turn 25 in 2 months and my rate with State Farm will be going down to around $300. I also have my car, renter's insurance and a life policy with them. |

Progressive is very good for cruisers. I have mine insured with them no so much so for sportbikes as I have been told by my agent. seems to be State Farm and Dairyland/Sentry do a better job with them at least for me. |

XB9R, XB12R, X1 and 71 Superglide.................Progressive..........$8 00.00/year for the whole heard. I've never had a claim, so I don't know if they are worth a crap or not.......but I've heard that they were good on that end. |

I'm not too thrilled with them at this time. They only pay 'warranty' flat rate labor on a claim. A frame replacement is only worth $1600 to them... The cheapest quote I can find is $3200. The concern is that NO shop takes warranty time for flat rate unless it's a warranty job. The markup from warranty to what the customer pays is usually 2x.I'm caught in the middle. I understand the game, Progressive has no way to verify labor times other than warranty times and therefore just pays those.. I pay $792.00/yr with them. I'm 24, no violations, one VERY minor parking lot ding. I'm happy with the service. |

When I had full coverage on my '04 XB12R I got quotes from Progressive a couple times, they were always the highest of anyone I called. They once quoted me $3600/yr. This was for a ~25 year old rider with one minor offense on my driving record (speeding 9mph over). When I paid off the bike and switched it over to liability-only I called progressive again, they were dirt cheap this time. On top of that, they said it would have only been ~$900/yr to insure the bike with full coverage, which is lower than I was ever quoted the whole time I was financing the bike. |

I liked Dairyland for quite some time. Up till I had my M2 stolen. They dropped me so fast.... Only claim I ever filed with them over a five year period. |

My rates keep going down with Progressive even with a few tickets...but the bike is 12 years old, I am 31, I've never filed a claim, and I've been paying them for nothing for almost 8 years now |
