Ive been having some dirty thoughts lately, so I scooped up a free project last week. I dont know if it can be salvaged (with the lack of available parts) but the free price tag makes me want to give it a shot. If ya'll know anyone with connections for chinese parts, please pm me. Just finished up an '84 CR250. Picked the thing up for $50 in boxes with a blown crank. Helluva deal right? Weekend fix right? $1200, 1 year, and a LOT of new friends down at the Honda shop and she's still being stubborn. I do have to say it runs like a champ (almost keeps up with the '97 big bore) until the rad starts to boil over. Nice to be in good company here. Good luck to you all!!! I know I need it. |
