Thanks Tripp, Eric... miss the area personally, better people, better riding.... I will initially be out of Monson, at least until I get a career on the roll, and buy a house.... But, I can commute... I have a close friend who will be moving up there this week or next, out in Attleborro.. Cant wait to tear up Rte2, or anywhere else amusing... Chase |

I pull my bike out this morning and let it warm up while I put my jacket, gloves and helmet on....I turn my head and the worst thing that could happen at 6:30am, CRASH, (in slow motion) I swear the side stand was out all the way. I double check every time I move my bike. Bent handlebar, broke signal, scuff mirror, scuff clutch, scuff bar end slider, and that pin on the bottom of the rider peg snapped off. |

Tripp, tell me you wern't sober when you forgot to put the side stand down? I went to sheldons and they happen to have a handle bar in stock. I have some packing tape over the left signal now. ( I think I get more power with the tape on there) Any one have any opinions about the signal mirrors in one? $120. for the 1125r ones, seems a little pricey. |

I think there is a blinker hanging on the wall in the shed you can have. I will check for you tonight. Get some "Real" mirrors, You know....Ones that actually work. Rizzoma's are like your car rear view, NO Vibration at all. |

My mirror I have now is fine. (very minor scuff) I do appreciate the offers. I was thinking about getting a mirror signal combo but I will spend my money elsewhere. I will have to grab a signal from someone. eric, I will change the signal why you put some balls in my ecm. sound fair? I have been looking for some aftermarkets but there is a lot to choose from. Some mirrors I could actually see out of would be nice. I hate having to hang off the bike to look behind me. I am gonna need tires soon so will have to start saving for them. I still have the original tires from the factory that were put on in 2002. |

Those tires are crap, I got some burners that would handle better than them.... Get some Pirelli Corsa III's and never look back. That is the single best performance mod you can do to your bike, That and new fork valves/springs...But that is some $$$ |

So you can crash safely in controlled conditions rather than on the street! |

Because you bought all the "I am a racer" gear. You have a rain suit. You want a race license. you want to race. They run rain or shine. You will learn MORE in the rain on body position/good lines than any nice day. |

Riding all day in the rain doesn't seem like fun to me. Yes I want a license but I still want to have fun while learning. To me rain=more chances of crashing. We all know you know all about crashing, don't we. Actually it has become a yearly occurrence for you hasn't it??? So when should we expect the annual jump-off this year?? Unless you want to replace the parts that break if I crash in the rain, I'm staying home. |

Crashing is part of racing Jim, Like it or not. I wouldn't take anything on the track you are not willing to let hit it. Make all the excusses you want..
.I only have ONE more crash than you, and both mine don't even equal your one. I guess if you are going to crash, Go all out! I rode away from BOTH mine and KEPT RIDDING. Did you??? Unless you want to replace the parts that break if I crash in the rain, I'm staying home. Well you did help me out BOTH times....Maybe I owe that to you..I will meet you there!. |

O.K. my NEBO brothers heres's my proposal and invitation to you all: what are your plans for memorial day weekend? what i was thinking was if you guys wanted to head up on friday the 30TH and crash at my place we could get in a good saturday of riding. of coarse a good bonfire would be in order and i will supply food and drink, anything else is in you court()and a good breakfast before takeoff in the am. i know it's tough for all of us to get together at the same time but let me know if it's something we can make happen. got plenty of space for tentin if ya want or couches, floor space, even a spare bedroom....jim and eric can decide who wants to be the big spoon! if ya wanna truck the bikes up(puss's)plenty of space to park cars. |
