One happy Bueller here. The FL house passed HB531 this AM 113-0 and the senate just passed SB0800 37-0. So as long as Gov. Crist signs them my retirement (and my wife's) almost doubles. So any time after July 1 I could be joining Rich and LaFayette!!

I am still on cloud nine. Of course now I need to dig deep to buy back 25 years of my time and 23 years of my wife's. Costly but well worth it!

Now you'll be able to afford gas in the future when a barrel is selling for 200 dollars and a gallon is 8 bucks.
All of us Buellers are going to be riding Yamaha zuma's at 123 mpg (50 cc scooters)and reminiscing about the old days of the xb12.... |

Great turnout last night. I got a mouth full of dust from the construction crew that closed half of 436 going home. Fun! Maybe i will get the hydration pack. |

I haven't been around here since I sold my Buell back in November, but still enjoy the rides, timing was just off lately. I was going to ride last month, but at the last minute, it seemed the day turned into a HD event with a poker run, so I bailed 
This morning, maybe I was early, filled-up and got to Lakeland HD at 7:30. A good group of a dozen bikes or so, mostly Buells, 2 identical twin(Kawasakis), BMW, Suzuki and my Triumph Daytona675(red).
It was a nice ride that covered 160 miles for me from door to door. Since the last time I rode with this group was on my Blast, I have never seen what the front of the pack looked like before. I was able to stay with the front 4 bikes throughout the ride instead of wondering where everyone went 
Breakfast was good ($4.25 for a sausage biscuit & oatmeal in the 1/2gallon bowl).
The short ride after breakfast was good, wonderful weather, roads were clean, no one got a ticket or when down  , beautiful countryside too.
The ride was spirited, but I never hit the revlimiter  , I did stay in 2nd/3rd gear for most of the ride. |

I am still sore from the hit and run but I have my bike back thanks to Mike, James and especially Frank at the soon to be defunct Seminole Buell Shop. I will try to make it, Little League play offs are this week and my son is playing tonight and if they win tonight they play again on Wednesday. Hopefully, I will see all who show.

Yeah, somewhat back to normal. Still pretty painful to lay down or get up from a horizontal position. Riding is good.
The police have confirmed that the license plate and the description of the vehicle are confirmed and they have a owner and insurance information. The OPD don't seem to really care, the detective they put on it is going to check and see if there is any evidence of damage on the vehicle. I told him that if I could get my bike fixed in 2.5 weeks the perp. certainly had plenty of time to repair and damage to his vehicle. The detective said "what would you want me to do?" I told him INVESTIGATE. Question the owner, tell him there are two witnesses that can ID him and his truck. "I don't know if the witnesses will testify or do a line-up." Well investigate. Anyway, I was treated like a pest and told that it really is between the insurance companies. So much for felonies in Central Florida. If you break the law in Orlando, just run … or walk away, the cops don't have time do bother with minor felonies. Just venting.
Maybe I'll see you guys tomorrow. My brother, Louise and I are doing the Sannon Burke's REAL Ride on Saturday www.wtks.com/pages/real_ride.html it should be fun. |

im new to the area and ride buells can any one explain to me how to get to the meeting area from 192 in kissimi via i-4 cause im in that area and dont know anybody in the area thanks and happy buelling |

Head to Orlando on I4. Exit onto SR50 (Colonial Drive). Head east on SR50 for about 5 miles. Turn left onto Humphries Ave. (look for Linda's La Cantina on left). Head into Baldwin Park and look to your left after a couple of STOP signs. We meet at Barnies Coffee which is next to the Publix.

thanks frank for the directions . if i get off early from work i will be heading that way in my xb12x so that i could meet the buell gays and gals in the area so keep on buelling |
