This is still my favorite, courtesy of Dueller (Jim Pierce);
My Porsche mechanic is a Ducati devotee and he took my S1 out for a spin at my urging. He came back, parked it and said "That is the most visceral and angriest damn motorcycle I've ever ridden."
Now THAT'S an accurate statement! Thanks Dueller!

Almost forgot. I had a personal encounter with an older gentleman outside the local BMW/Triumph shop while on my Reactor Yellow and Nuclear Blue X1:
"They don't come from the factory that color do they?!!"

finally got the "headlights out" from the guy that came along for the ride to get the 1K service done today. nice guy, but he's one of these guys that finally gets a harley and wants to put every piece of chrome on the bike that will possibly go on there. even going with the inverted forks for the wide glide. it doesn't take much for him to want to go out for a ride though. |

I rode with a group of every kind of bikes available on a benefit ride a year ago or so, and got the 'your head light is out' several times from the guys I just met to ride with. So I decided to mess with them. Through out the sixty mile ride I switched from low to high beam about every five minutes and finished the ride with both lights on.
Then the comments changed to 'something is wrong with your light wiring', I told them I'm not worried, it is under warranty. |

The ex gf's dad was riding his suzuki cruiser one evening with me. he started leading the way through some twisties around his area and when we got back he told me it sounded like he was being followed by a pissed off dragon! |

LOL CeeJay... I got that comment once as well, outside an auto parts store of all places. Couldn't believe it, just laughed and thanked her for the compliment and rode away. |
