I finally sold my GT750 Water buffalo today. A man working on the house across the street from me had admired it in my garage. The neighbor came to me and told me that this man had just been diagnosed with cancer. He had told her that; He would like to buy the bike if I were to sell it. I hadn't ridden it in quite some time. I had planned on using it for me and my wife to ride together. But she had had 2 lower back and 3 neck surgeries, so I gave up that idea. I hated to see this old friend go, but I wasn't riding it. He offered me $600, I only took $500 because it was going to need a new battery. |

$500.oo the guy got a hell of a deal if all it needed was a battery. you can't hardly buy a running anything around here for that. that looks like a clean gt. i would have drove to pick it up for that. i love those old gt's. that was very nice of you to sell it to him for that (Message edited by tom_b on May 03, 2008) |

I had two Honda CB750s with the Windjammer fairings. They were a piece of cake to put on and take off and they did a great job of blocking the wind and noise. I almost never wore earplugs or used a faceshield. He was the premiere fairing maker until Honda realized what a market it was and started building their own for the Goldwings. |

That frame mounted fairing was great. I could ride in the winter - no problem. In the rain - kept me almost dry. The bike rode and handled like a dream. I could U-turn in my narrow street, something I can't do on my Buell. But it makes me happy to see the joy in the new owners eyes. He needed it much more than I did.
