Hmmm, surprised that Arizona's HWY 191 didn't make the list. |

Oh? What about hwy 12 Washington - Idaho. Lolo Pass. If I'm not mistaken, the sign at the bottom (eastbound) says "caution- magnificent twisties next 75 miles" Twisty heaven! |

Arkansas Highway 7 – Winding from Harrison to Jasper on through the Ozark National Forest, this route is a Southern delicacy. I'll second that!! |

In "Ghost Rider", Neil Peart talked about a back highway just north of Vancouver as "the best motorcycling road I have ever seen". I forgot what road it was, maybe someone up in that part of the world will be familiar with it. I could not help but notice that the PCH was missing from that list. I have always wanted to ride that on a motorcycle. |

Well, that's why I said they need to do this again. Let's have a 2008 Top Ten Twisties report. If not on their site, how about in the Fuell Mag? |

Pacific coast highway aint so good. I've rode it many times and what you get is a nearly perfect road with stunning scenery only the view is of a long line of RV's. They all go very slow, rubernecking and some of them leak.... If you know that ahead of time, it can be a great leisure ride. |

I guess finding good twisties with good pavement and no traffic is the real challenge. If you include those stipulations, it should not be too hard to narrow the list down to ten. |

I kinda prefer the good twisties with bad pavement . In that case, you would love Kitt Peak. |

Here's one of my favorites around Austin: http://tinyurl.com/4ej5sa What I like best about the Google map is that it says "33.1 mi – about 1 hour 3 mins"... NOT! HellBuelly J "May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view." --Edward Abbuelly |
