Erik, good race report, congrats on 3rd and good to hear the bike was rippin'. I gotta make it up for the races some time, love reading the reports afterward.
Eric, cool, I'll PM you my cell. Not sure when i can head out, i work for myself so i'm at the mercy of my clients today. Hoping to jet by like 5PM. gotta have stuff wrapped so i can play all day tomorrow  |

I just got confirmation my boots have been delivered...WooT!!!!
Now just a waiting game to leave work...I am packed except for my clothes, Truck loaded, bike/parts/tools loaded!.....
I will start the official Rain Dance shortly...Look away as this could get ugly! |

Well I stayed overnight, only to wake up to them canceling the track day. Tunnels were flooded.

yeah, i was bummed, but seems like it was the best call in the end. shit wont stop falling outta the sky!
Tony is going to set up a special page with options for the riders who missed out. Make sure you have an account set up with his website so you get the details when their ready.
If I receive anything I'll post up to make sure you guys know too.
EDIT: I forgot you guys are on NESR too, so I'm sure you'll see the info there.

Call it the "perfect storm" as to why we decided to cancel.
In all my years of doing this, we've never hit 48 hours of rain.
I just walked in the door, and after almost 3 hours of driving home in the rain, it convinced me we made the right call. Even though the weather was teasing us as we loaded up this morning, but just as we left the track, the skies opened up again for good.
Anyway, in my ongoing effort to make sure people leave our events with smiles... I'll be working out some deals for BOTH riders... those for April 28 and 29. Even though people got to ride on the 28th and hopefully learned something... I think you guys deserve something too.
I just have to review lots of records and payments and other stuff related to these days, and then I'll be making a web page for each group outlining what's on the table, your options, etc.
Make sure you have an account setup on our website... only takes a minute or two. Also, if you have any kind of spam filters or blockers... whitelist my email address (tony@tonys... etc) to ensure the messages get through.

Hey Eric- hold off on the ECMSpy cable. I think that the Tungsten is already RS-232, so there's no need for a data level conversion.

I noticed that some NEBOnians are uploading the NEBO icon for display in their posts, which is cool.
Rather than uploading the file each time, you may now use the gif image just added to the clipart gallery, or just type...
\clipart{NEBO}
or
\ca{NEBO}
or
\imagelink{http://www.BadWeatherBikers.com/buell/clipart/NEBO .gif}
in your post.
Sorry for failing to get that done sooner. I had to create a gif version of the file with a transparent background, which was tricky on account of I'm no graphic artist.

I REALLY hope a dealer can sort out your bike.
I leave my Ducati on the tender all the time now.It DID start today after being left over a week without the tender.But it INITIALLY turns over SOOoooooo freaking slowly.I'm glad the bigger gauge battery wires are helping.

******* JP - Thanks for the Trailer use! It is back at home where I found it.
Had a small mishap at the track, I was unloading the bike and I herd the valve stem start leaking,,,,WTF??? I had a can of fix-a-flat and tried it but the stem was done.
I ended up getting one of the tire guys to replace the stem, So it is all good again.
May want to consider a spare tire for that thing.
Good Trailer though, It tracks well.

Hey Greg whats up? Yep my wife did tell me you called but i was away in Nepal first and rolled right into some drill weekends all combined to make a full week of them to include the weekend. However i would like to ride in the afternoon. If we left at 530 from middletown would that be to late? i cant do it tomorrow need the truck at work what about the rest of the week? |
