I have a Vance & Hines SS2R exhaust that was just removed from a 00 X1. I believe it will fit fuel injected M2 and S3 models as well. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. NOTE: V&H instructions state that the chin fairing on an X1 must be trimmed to prevent melting on the left side. I never trimmed my chin fairing, there is ample clearance between fairing and muffler, and nothing ever melted. I used the exhaust for approximately 5000 miles, and it will need to be repacked. (PN# 5928 - $24.95 from American Sport Bike) The V&H exhaust has an elbow built in - it's all one piece, so this will NOT fit a race header. It has some small scratches at the bottom rear of the cannister. I have pics on my phone and will try uploading them at work. This part new is $300 give or take, depending on where you purchase it.
