Care to elaborate? Mine has 6700+ miles and no problems with the clutch, other than ME getting used to the hydraulics. Zack |

Sorry Zack, re.prev post. Clutch is biting right at end of lever travel. It wasn't like this till about 300miles and nor was the demo bike. |

I think mine catches towards the end too, I just adapted. The engagement should back off a small amount, I'd think as the plates bed-in. Shouldn't be much tho. Went out to the garage - sun's shining and it's snowing... Mine starts to bite at about 1-1/2" and is fully engaged by 2", setting 4 on the lever. Works fine for me. Z |

Admittedly, the hyd clutch is very different from the cable, took me awhile to get used to it. Mine hasn't changed much since day one, always engages pretty close to all the way out, dial set to 2. Slipper does surprise me and can bite when I wasn't expecting it, but I have since learned the bike and haven't had any trouble in the last couple hundred miles. It will change a little during break in, but not much. More than likely its normal. You can have your dealer bleed the system (just like brakes) If that doesn't change anything and it does not slip, it should be OK. The lever adjustment will not change the engagement, only how far of a reach it is to the lever. |

I also noticed a big difference going from the cable to hydraulic clutch. After 1200 miles I am totally used to it now and actually like it a lot better then the old cable. They do engage "late" but you can combat this by adjusting the lever closer to the grip AND using only two fingers to shift. This leaves two fingers still on the bar grip, thus making the whole clutch lever range shorter. Pulling the lever all the way back to the grip is too far and un-necessary. Try it...it works great for me. |

And the best part is, you'll never be down for a broken clutch cable that's on back-order for two months. I had to rebuild my cable on my Firebolt once for that reason. Z |

I swapped out the stock levers with shorty Pazzo's and it works great. Have no issues with clutch feel or engagement. LOVE the shorty levers, and the blue is a really close match! |

Astro. Not sure what you are asking. Pazzo made these up for the 1125R. They may work for the XB's too, not sure though. |
