LOL - I saw a couple of his auctions & was thinking about asking the same thing! Bikes with single-sided swingarms are somewhat rare, but I've never seen one with TWO!!! Hmmm... that steering shaft looks like the one on my Mustang. I wonder what the multi-coloored tubes are for, and that odd piece that vaguely resembles half a turbo with a velocity stack and heat sink on it? I especially like the use of pistons as lighting housings! | ||

Like me--he's making something because he envisioned it. It's an unusual piece of machinery that's inside his head, and he has to get it out! What better way than to just make the darn thing? I'm picturing the Tin Man from the original Oz movie riding it. | ||

I think it's cool. the suspension and swingarms must all be from the same bike? The Yamaha GTS1000 had RADD front suspension, but its definalty not off one of those - what was the donar bike? Is everything aluminum? HOw much does it weigh? | ||

Absolutely incredible! It appears that the kingpin is offset to the right of the wheel centerline, so the wheelbase would increase on right turns and decrease on left turns - this would make for some unique handling qualities, no? Also, the kingpin appears to be inclined to the rear, so it seems to me that the bike would pull to the right - perhaps the steering damper is more than what it appears to be? The steam-power-meets-high-tech style is like something out of "wild wild west" - uber kewl ! If nothing else, this bike will function as a testament to the creativity and design & fab skill of its creator - a rolling resume! | ||

All I did was highlight my cooling fins with a dremel sanding drum and bling up the pushrod Pegasus...   | ||

Hi "Doc" Welcome. I never replied to your email to thank you for sending me the link to these pictures, so I'll do so now. Thank You! I'm looking forward to seeing this bike in person, do you plan on showing it? Do you think it will make it to the "American Thunder / Donny Smith show" in Minnesota? It's one of those bikes that I could study and appreciate for a long long time. It has everything, artistry, geometry, ingenuity, craftsmanship, originality... I have no doubt that this bike (but it is so much more than just a bike) will draw a crowd where ever it goes. | ||

The "one off machine shop" is in my garage The rear swing arm is a heavily machined and modified (shortened) Honda of some sort The front casting is also heavily modified and began life as a REAR Ducati 916 . It is mounted upside down so that both F and R wheels are single sided from the same side. The front steering hub resides inside of the original rear eccentric hub carrier The pictures that someone posted are actually quite old and the bike has had many modifications since then | ||
